We’ve made plans to continue supporting DSV software while also making it easy for you to use Hudl if you want to.

I’m comfortable with DSV. Can I still keep using my installed DSV software?

Absolutely. With or without a support contract you can continue to use DSV for as long as you wish.

If you’re uncomfortable switching this close to the season, you can keep using DSV. As long as you’ve paid for DSV this year or paid for a Hudl subscription, you get the same DSV support you’re used to as well as Hudl’s support team.

How can I get support for DSV after 2011?

As long as you are paying for a Hudl silver, gold, or platinum subscription, you will have access to all of Hudl’s tools (including online exchange/tape trade, highlights and recruiting, and unlimited licenses for Hudl) as well as upgrades for Hudl and support for both Hudl and DSV 8. If you are currently on an earlier version of DSV, you will receive an upgrade to DSV 8 if you purchase a Hudl subscription.

We’ll make sure you have an awesome experience this year—free of disruptions and able to take full advantage of the powerful combination of the best video editing systems out there.

My entire coaching library is in DSV. Am I going to lose it all?

Absolutely not. All of your team’s work in DSV is safe. Hudl is not forcing coaches to stop using desktop and laptop versions of DSV.

What’s happening with DSV’s online tools (DSV Anywhere)?

Your team’s video and data will soon be migrated to Hudl. Once that migration is complete, DSV Anywhere will no longer be available. Teams who’ve purchased DSV Anywhere this year will have immediate access to Hudl.

Chris Griffin (DSV’s President) will be working as a consultant with Hudl to ensure that DSV customers transition seamlessly to the new online tools.

I planned to upgrade to the latest version of DSV this year, but haven’t yet. Can I still upgrade?

Yes. Subscribing to Hudl gets you a free upgrade to DSV 8. Once you’ve paid, we’ll send you the DSV software update. You’ll get everything you love about DSV, plus Hudl’s great online tools.
